Transparent Vertical Menu

Description: This vertical golf menu uses a simple PNG image to give some transparency so that the image behind can be seen. Creating a navigation menu such as this gives a sense of depth (foreground and background). It looks quite trendy but is really simple to produce.
The background image is of the famous golfer "Ben Hogan". He pioneered the famous golf swing and is still considered one of the greatest golfing legends of all time.
This menu works in all common browsers and is constructed with CSS and Xhtml only.

Free css green horizontal menu. This free menu is quick and simple to create. I`ve made the hover just a simple background colour instead of an image, this saves any slow down. If an image is preferred create a larger image with the hover image out of sight... Then the hover uses "background-position" style to switch positions upon hover (1 image 2 positions). This should avoid any slow down on image swap.
Big Yellow Button. Some visitors to your websites may have poor vision or disabilities which prohibits them from clicking on small buttons easily. This problem is easily remedied with very little css code and minimal effort... and it looks better than your boring old hypertext. Don`t forget that even though scripts like this use images, they are still just hypertext!
Vertical Blog Menu. This vertical menu is a great idea for blogs. Users will find it much easier to hover over a large amounts of information rather than trying to find and click on a smaller button. Interactive multimedia is about making your user/visitor experience as stress free as possible. Bigger rollover areas are not just helpful to users with poor motor skills or little vision, they can actually speed up and enhance everybodys surfing experience.
