Users of McAfee site advisor (numbers in the millions), are given a display of how safe your website is from a search result in Google,Yahoo etc. If you have not submitted your site for testing with McAfee then potential visitors may just surf past your site. Before submitting your websites url, check that it is Search engine friendly. Make sure that there is plenty of content and that it is all relevant to your meta title, description and keywords.

Search engines like websites that have reciprocal links to high ranking sites. Many search engines use a program called a spider to index web sites. Spiders can find your site easier the more websites which have a link to your site. Spiders can rank your page easier if you have reciprocal links back to these websites. The more links the better the site. Caution! Dont link to too many low ranking websites (use the link below to check other peoples page rank)and check in the source code that the website doesnt use the rel="nofollow" attribute in the link(this stops spiders).
